- The rental marketplace will enable the players of the Kyptomon Genesis to rent Kryptomon NFTs for as low as ₱1 per day.

Claiming to offer Southeast Asian gamers a wider web3 gaming experience, Filipino-led social gaming platform Playdex revealed the release of the Kryptomon non-fungible token (NFT) Rental Marketplace on its platform, a marketplace that will enable the players of the newly launched web3 game, Kyptomon: Genesis, to rent Kryptomon NFTs for as low as ₱1 per day.
Playdex’s Kryptomon NFT Rental Marketplace
The NFT rental marketplace was first hinted at by Playdex in June last year, when the firm raised $2 million in a seed round participated in by PDAX, OrangeDAO, and iSeed Ventures.
Currently, Playdex supports 202 games, including Kryptomon Pink, Anito Legends, Thetan Arena, Ethlas, and many more. However, NFT rentals on these games are still not available, and the only allowed NFTs, aside from Kryptomon NFTs, to be rented are Axie Infinity teams.

How to Rent NFTs:
- Step 1: At the home screen, look for Kryptomon: Genesis under the NFT Rental Marketplace tag.
- Step 2: Browse and choose which Kryptomon to rent.
- Step 3: After confirming the rent, go to Kryptomon.com or download the game on the Apple Store or Google Play Store.
- Step 4: Make sure the same wallet used for the Playdex account is connected to Kryptomon.
- Step 5: To see if the rented NFTs are in the account, check the inventory.
What is Kryptomon: Genesis?
Kryptomon: Genesis is a competitive web3 roleplaying game (RPG) that allows players to breed, train, and fight with their own NFT digital monsters.
“In Kryptomon, gamers can explore an immersive metaverse, join epic battles with friends, and earn rewards in the form of $KMON tokens, which can be exchanged for real money,” a press release read.
To kickstart their gaming journey, players will just need three Kryptomon NFTs to start—this will only cost them as low as ₱1 to be able to start playing.
Apart from the game itself, Playdex will also give gamers a chance to utilize their rented Kryptomons in the upcoming Kryptomon: Genesis Leaderboards to be hosted on its GameHub. Tournament rankers are guaranteed to take home rewards from their prize pools.
