  • To help content creators onboard to web3 technology and enhance their relationship with their audiences, BlockchainSpace has launched its Creator Circle program.
  • The Creator Circle program, as per the announcement, will work alongside BSPC’s existing Guild Partner Program (GPP), a program that focuses on GameFi that was launched during the Philippine Web3 Festival week.
  • BSPC, to onboard creators into web3 space, is said to focus on enhancing asset ownership in gaming, fostering community empowerment through shared values, and aligning creators with their audiences, while gradually introducing NFTs, DeFi, and other blockchain solutions that aim to create a seamless experience for creators.

Aiming to expand and revolutionize the creator economy by integrating blockchain initiatives and innovations into it, BlockchainSpace (BSPC), a data aggregator and infrastructure provider for guilds and web3 projects in the industry, announced the launch of its Creator Circle program.

The expansion will be a step for the firm to adjust its approach and goals to accommodate this new venture. For this, BSPC said that it plans to introduce creators to web3 technology, provide educational and collaborative opportunities, and tackle obstacles specific to this market.

“The Creator Circle has been meticulously designed to provide a customized approach and an array of exclusive benefits tailored to content creators, acknowledging the considerable differences between their needs and those of guild owners,” Peter Ing, BSPC’s CEO and founder, stressed.

However, despite the expansion, Ing assured that the company will remain dedicated to equipping gamers and guilds with top-notch community tools and educational resources that help them succeed in the metaverse:

“Expanding into the creator economy isn’t a pivot for us, it’s a natural market expansion that follows the same model we’ve been using in GameFi. We see a powerful trifecta in both spaces, consisting of the community owner, the brands, and the community itself. By entering this larger market, we’re amplifying the potential of our products and services, allowing us to cater to a wider audience, ranging from mainstream brands to independent creators, all while empowering them and their entire communities.”

Accordingly, the Creator Circle program, as per the announcement, will work alongside the existing Guild Partner Program (GPP), a program that focuses on GameFi that was launched during the Philippine Web3 Festival week.

BSPC’s Goal: From PH to SEA to the World

Initially, BSPC’s goal is to first establish a strong presence in the Philippines, gradually strengthen its position, and then expand its operations. It is because the Philippines, in a statement, has been supportive of BSPC’s past accomplishments, creating a welcoming atmosphere for testing and refining various ideas.

After then, BSPC emphasized that it intends to broaden its reach to encompass Southeast Asia and other areas, building on its prior initiatives while utilizing the learnings it acquired from its previous GameFi endeavors.

“By taking what we’ve learned from the GameFi economy and bringing the best of that world to the creator economy, we are creating a system where everyone is rewarded for engaging in or propagating the creator’s content. Everyone involved will share in the success of that creator,” stated Aspen Sanez, Head of Marketing at BlockchainSpace.

BSPC’s Strategy: Introduce Web3 in a User-Friendly Manner

Moreover, Ing noted that the program will implement a badge system that promotes and recognizes active participation within a content creator’s community. This feature is expected to not only enhance the overall experience but also strengthen the relationship between creators and their audiences.

BSPC’s expansion plan also includes introducing creators to the world of web3 in a user-friendly manner. To achieve this, BSPC claimed that it will focus on enhancing asset ownership in gaming, fostering community empowerment through shared values, and aligning creators with their audiences. Throughout this process, BSPC will then gradually introduce NFTs, DeFi, and other blockchain solutions that aim to create a seamless experience for creators.

A few days ago, the firm ‌introduced model and actress Cora Waddell and filmmaker Janina Manipol as the program’s new co-heads for Creator Partnerships and NFT investor Rafa Rodrigo as the Head of Strategic Partnerships.

BSPC’s Activities this 2023

After organizing the Philippine Web3 Festival in November last year with Yield Guild Games, BSPC has been more active in the space.

In January, the firm acquired the majority of the intellectual property (IP) house MetaSports, an organization, content hub, and media agency covering the esports and the web3 gaming industry. Metasports recently partnered with famous web3 content creators KookooTV and YellowPanther.

“Metasports and BlockchainSpace are committed to creating more access to financial tooling globally, as we believe it’s a critical factor in providing longevity for creators. Web3 enables global access to financial infrastructure, empowering communities, and ensuring that creators can continue to thrive,” Joseph Josue, CEO of Metasports, stated.

Josue added that, while they may not yet fully grasp the vast potential of this technology, the two firms believed that it will play a significant role in shaping the future of the creator economy and fostering sustainable success.

In the same month, BSPC also forged a partnership with community-focused launchpad and blockchain gaming incubator Seedify.fund to further improve the former’s GameFi capabilities.

Further, last February, in an Ask Me Anything (AMA) session focusing on The Shift in Creator Communities and Fan Loyalty, Ing highlighted that fan loyalty is mainly focused on the individuals, the creators themselves, rather than the company or corporation they belong to.
