Lil Nas X, Bella Poarch, Curtis Roach, More Creators will be TikTok NFT Stars

TikTok released the list of content creators that will be featured on the social media giant’s first-ever non fungible tokens (NFT) collection, known as TikTok Top Moments.
The list of stars that will be featured are TikTok content creators Lil Nas X, Rudy Willingham, Bella Poarch, Curtis Roach, Brittany Broski, FNMeka, Jess Marciante and Gary Vaynerchuk.
Where Lil Nas X will be the first creator to launch his one-of-one and limited editions NFTs with artist Rudy Willingham on October six.
“Inspired by the creativity and innovation of the TikTok creator community, we’re exploring the world of NFTs as a new creator empowerment tool,” TikTok’s statement as they announced TikTok Moments last October first.
TikTok Top Moments will highlight a selection of six culturally significant TikTok videos from the Social Media Giant’s some of the “most beloved creators”. Where everyone-of-one NFT symbolizes a big celebration about the impact these creators have on the platform.
The featured content creators are partnering with prominent NFT creators, including COIN ARTIST, x0r, RTFKT, Grimes, and more, on limited edition NFTs. (Read More: Tiktok Rides NFT Wave, to Release First Creator-led NFT Collection)
“Building on our commitment to helping creators achieve their goals in the growing creator economy, TikTok NFTs provide a way for creators to be recognized and rewarded for their content, and for fans to own a culturally-significant moment on TikTok,” TikTok added.
TikTok stated that majority of the proceeds will go directly to the content creators and NFT artists involved. This will be a ‘show of support’ of TikTok, NFT fans and enthusiasts to the creators of the content making platform.
The one-of-one NFTs will be available on Ethereum while the limited edition NFTs will be powered by Immutable X, which uses StarkWare’s innovative technology in creating the first carbon neutral Layer-2 scaling solution for Ethereum.
The TikTok concluded that a series of weekly drops will take place through the end of the month, after which the NFTs can be minted and traded with zero gas fees on the Immutable X Layer-2.
