In a message to BitPinas, details about the partnership with PBA will be announced this June June at the opening of the league’s 47th season.

Recently, the professional football club Manchester United announced a multi-year partnership with eco-friendly blockchain ecosystem Tezos. Through the collaboration, Tezos will be featured on the Club’s range of men’s and women’s training kits. In March 2021, cryptocurrency exchange FTX acquired the naming rights to the Miami Heat arena for $135 million. The deal was approved by the NBA in early April, and the arena was fully renamed to FTX Arena in June 2021. In December 2021, the home of the NBA’s Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers – Staples Arena – was renamed after Crypto.com, a Singapore-based crypto trading platform and non-fungible token marketplace.
