(Manila, Philippines) May 8, 2019 – Blockchain products and service provider TraXion has partnered with billing solutions Bayad Center for paying bills conveniently online.

The service to be launched is called “BAIYARIN“, with “bai” a Visayan term for “bills”. Traxion said in a statement sent to BitPinas:

“BAIYARIN is a solution in a wallet to cater to payments for Filipino individuals. It is a simple and secure way to pay bills conveniently without the need to stand in the lines. Bills Payments are targeted towards electricity, water, pharmacies, schools, hospitals, loans, and government institutions.”

Traxion is in the business of creating white label solutions for partner companies and organizations, with the goal of integrating blockchain into their systems.

Mentioned before in BitPinas is Traxion’s goal of using Hyperledger Fabric to operate a permission-based blockchain where entities become interoperable and able to transact without the element of trust.

Adding Bayad Center as a partner to BAIYARIN will allow customers to access more than 250 billing partners.

“Soon, Traxion will also be offering more services under retail services such as instasurance, and more. Once the contract has been signed, a nationwide rollout shall commence within the month with all the 250+ billers offered.”

The partnership signing between Traxion and Bayad Center happened on May 8, 2019 at the Lighthouse Lopez Building Meralco Complex, Pasig City. Ann Cuisia and Bermil Espina of Traxion and Manuel Tuason and Francispito Quevedo of CIS Bayad Center were present in the signing.
