To make it possible, it trained an AI tool that directly scrapes the internet for web data that will then be curated by Grass using its own network of nodes.

The only information that Grass gets is the user’s email address that is used to create an account.

Grass also promised that companies, entities, and institutions that buy the unused bandwidth of the participants are monitored to make sure that it cannot be used in fraudulent activities:

“All buyers are vetted and monitored, ensuring no misuse or illegal activity. Grass only uses up to 0.3% of your bandwidth at any time and will not affect your internet speed as it functions only when you’re not using your full bandwidth.”
