Globe to Tap Axie Infinity and other NFT Publishers for Partnerships
Globe Telecom, one of the leading telecommunication service providers in the Philippines, expressed their desire to propose partnerships with Sky Mavis, the developer of popular play-to-earn (P2E) game Axie Infinity, and other P2E publishers to โelevate gaming experienceโ in the country. This is confirmed by Nix Eniego, Sky Mavis Philippines Lead, to BitPInas.
In a blog post announcing the launch of their campaign โGame Well-Played,โ which aims to โflex the good in gaming, ignite understanding and draw support for the gaming industry across the Philippines,โ the firm noted how the gaming industry created a huge wave in the country. They pointed out that in the Philippines, 43 million gamers contributed to the rise of gaming locally and across Southeast Asia.
In line with this, Globe stated that it has taken its Go+ offers to new heights as it reintroduced its GoPLAY promo, which promises โmore gaming apps and free in-game vouchers soon for a more leveled up gaming experience.โ
Initially, Globe users can only access promos for games such as Mobile Legends: Bang Bang (MLBB), PUBG Mobile, Call of Duty Mobile (CODM), League of Legends Wild Rift, Valorant, Legends of Runeterra, Genshin Impact and Pokemon Unite. With their aim to give elevated gaming experience they now include the involvement of professional leagues like Philippine Pro Gaming League (PPGL), and organizations like AcadArena and Blacklist International. Of course, the upcoming team-up of Globe with โplay-to-earn enablers like Sky Mavis, the publishers of Axie Infinity.โ
In a statement, Globe is teaming up with Sky Mavis to give players the opportunity to achieve financial independence while still having fun.

In fact, according to the latest survey by global ๏ฌntech platform Finder, the Philippines ranked 4th with the highest non-fungible token (NFT) adoption globally; while one out of every four Filipino internet users have played P2E NFT games like Axie In๏ฌnity.
